To be able to ensure that the standards are respected, we need to test units to determine if they are within the specifications for the final product or service. How to use QC in a business setting is highly dependent on the product or industry. The food industry uses QC to make sure that the HACCP (hygiene and health) standards are met. The pharmaceutical industry uses QC to guarantee that its products are safe and respect the regulation. The retail industry uses QC to give the customer high-quality products and satisfactory shopping experiences.
